I posted this lovely photo of the weather forecast on Facebook, on Dec. 31. It warrants a posting here too.
We've had a few days where the weather has been sort of close to what is "normal" for this time of year -10 or -15.... something like that. But it has been a crazy-cold winter so far. And a whole lot of snow. I do like that part.... but the kids haven't been able to play in it lately.
Currently it is -33 with a windchill of -47. Good times.
There has been no gradually get used to a Manitoban winter for this family. Nope - we have jump in and, other than a few moments here and there, are taking it like champs.
Very very cold champs.
