Ephesians 2: 4-10
We were missionaries in thin air: Quito, Ecuador, elev. 9500 ft. but we moved to Manitoba. It is our family's first time living in Canada - the 4th country we have lived in. The blog title is in part from the "thin air" in Quito. More than that it is a reflection of life as a true Jesus-loving Christian. Sometimes the air is a little "thin" in life. We need to deeply breathe of God and His Goodness, Faithfulness, Righteousness, Grace, Patience...the list goes on.

personalizing
...I was by nature deserving of wrath. But because of His great love for me, God , who is rich in mercy, made me alive with Christ even when I was dead in transgressions - it is by grace I have been saved. And God raised me up with Christ and seated me with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to me in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace I have been saved, through faith - and this is not from myself, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For I am God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do.
